Hello my fellow coffee aficionados! I have some news that I think you’re going to like.
My name is Karen Esposito; I am an Inventor and the President of KAGE NY LLC. Today, I am thrilled to share with you, and the world, our clever new product called CUPRIGHT. Before I do, I want to tell you a little bit about my company, KAGE NY LLC. I established KAGE NY in 2015 to develop innovative new products that solve every day problems and make your life a little easier. We have a few products in line to come out soon, but CUPRIGHT is a great start.
Now that that’s out of the way, I am proud to introduce CUPRIGHT - our desktop cup holder that will solve the age-old problem of tip-over spills: knocking your drink over, to put it bluntly. We chose CUPRIGHT as our first product launch not only because it will help a very large group of people, but because there simply wasn’t a stylish, well-designed cup holder available for a desktop. And, when it comes to making life easier, we like to say CUPRIGHT hits the trifecta, because in addition to it preventing your beverage from tipping over, it’s insulated and will help keep your beverage hot or cold, and also eliminates the need for a coaster. So why do we think it would benefit a lot of people? Did you know that: according to the US Census Bureau, approximately 72 million people work in various types of commercial office buildings every day; or that Coffee facts and statistics published on e-importz.com state that over 50% of Americans over 18 years of age drink coffee every day? There are over 150 million daily coffee drinkers in the United States, with an average consumption of 3.1 cups of coffee per day. That’s a lot of coffee in one day. Together, Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks, two of the coffee industry's giants, sold approximately 3.2 billion coffee drinks in one year (dunkindonuts.com)(reference.com). Consider the amount of other fast food restaurants selling to-go type cold and hot drinks every day, the numbers are staggering. That’s how we knew so many people would benefit from CUPRIGHT.
Whichever to-go drink you prefer, you will always need a secure place to put it down to prevent it from spilling. Look around, there’s a reason our cars are designed with cup holders, and most exercise equipment, bicycles, baby strollers, and even shopping carts have cup holders, so why not have a really cool cup holder for your desk? Better to drink it than wear it; liquid stains don’t look good on anyone.
